Introduction to Respectful Parenting (Respectful Parenting Workshop Series)
Have you heard of respectful parenting? Would you like to find out more? Here’s your chance. This 2.5 hour interactive workshop will give you an overview of respectful parenting principles and basic techniques. We hope that after this session you can see your children with new eyes. This workshop is inspired by the life and work of Magda Gerber (founder of RIE) and her mentor, Dr Emmi Pikler.
This series will run on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Akasha Bright (33A Hong Kong Street, 2nd floor, Singapore 059672). Please see below for directions to the venue.
The dates of all the sessions in this series are as follows:
(1) 1 Nov 2017 – Introduction to Respectful Parenting
(2) 8 Nov 2017 - Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers
(3) 15 Nov 2017 - Play Matters
(4) 22 Nov 2017 - Embracing Toddlerhood (Meltdowns, Tantrums and Setting Limits)
(5) 29 Nov 2017 - Finding Compassion
The price for each workshop is $75 per person or $125 per couple. If you would like to sign up for the whole series, the price is $300 per person or $550 for couple for 5 sessions.
Please note that these are adult-only workshops.

Alight at Clark Quay Station, take exit E, (5mins walk) come out of station you will see a shopping mall named The Central, take the overhead bridge, walk at the same direction as the flow of traffic, once you see Hong Kong street, immediately turn in, then you will find us on the right side of the road.
